ODAI : A Nomadic Artist of Arab Origin
Odai, is an independent and multi-disciplinary artist who was born in Jordan in 1993. He began his musical journey in 2011 and since then, he has explored various genres and styles as a singer-songwriter, composer, music producer, instrumentalist, and Live looping performer. He is also a global citizen who lives a nomadic life, traveling to different countries and cultures and drawing inspiration from them. His art reflects his diverse experiences and his passion for creating original and authentic works
In late 2018, Odai set out on a journey to Turkey from Jordan, specifically Mafraq, with the intention of spending a few years exploring and seeking knowledge. His travels then took him to Iran, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. As of now, Odai remains committed to his quest for knowledge, continuing to travel and explore new territories. His adventurous spirit and thirst for knowledge have led him on a path of discovery and learning, allowing him to immerse himself in the diverse cultures and traditions of the places he visits.

From indie and acoustic, to tribal, trance, authentic, shamanic, spiritual, Sufi, oriental, ancient, ceremonial, electronic, and experimental music, Odai's amalgamation of sounds is truly something to behold. He utilizes an array of instruments and techniques, including live looping, guitar, oud, dotar, tar, various flutes, percussion, Shruti box, vocals, and more.
Influenced by Eastern Arab culture and sciences, as well as ancient Egyptian, Persian, Turkish, African, Indian, Amazonian, and other cultures and languages, Odai's music is a testament to the rich heritage of his Arab origin. Each note serves as a celebration of diversity and creativity, weaving together sounds and rhythms from around the world into a beautiful and harmonious composition.
Workshops and Ceremonial Facilitator
Odai's passion for music goes beyond entertainment and performance. As a facilitator for therapeutic/healing music sessions, he specializes in sound alchemy, sound activation, meditative music, singing circles, and music circles, while also teaching various musical instruments and vocal techniques.
His unique approach incorporates the use of breathing techniques, musical instruments, and sounds inspired by nature, ancient music sciences, and sound frequency sciences. Through this approach, Odai helps individuals break free from the circle of illusion and limitation, and enter the space of creativity, growth, and wellness, bringing about feelings of ecstasy, love, and trance.
Odai is also known for leading healing ceremonies where he holds space through music and sound as a Ceremonial Maestro. He utilizes the art and magic of music and sound to open gates of vision, feelings, and memories, creating a powerful and transformative experience for all those involved. With his expertise in the science of sound and ceremony, Odai is known for his ability to facilitate deep healing and personal transformation through his music.
